The client
Dr. Kendal Stewart is a physician in Austin, Texas, and a surgical specialist with expertise in neurosensory disorders and related genetic conditions. He is board-certified in head and neck surgery and has completed specialty training in skull base surgery. About two decades ago he moved toward helping patients through nutrition, genetic testing and other functional approaches, and he sees patients of all ages. He is also the host of the podcast “Coffee With Dr. Stewart,” which discusses neuroimmune issues.
The challenge
Dr. Stewart’s old website was outdated and no longer reflected the depth of his expertise or the reputation he has built with patients and families. It looked dated, worked poorly on phones, and was difficult to keep current. His services were spread across pages without a consistent structure, which made them hard for visitors to browse and hard for his team to update. The podcast also lacked a home that matched his main brand, so listeners and patients were moving between two very different experiences.
The solution
I designed and built a new website from the ground up in WordPress with Elementor, giving Dr. Stewart a modern, professional site that presents his work clearly to patients, families and fellow practitioners.
A clear, credible design
The new design is clean and easy to read, with a layout that puts Dr. Stewart’s background, approach and services front and centre. Visitors can quickly understand who he is, what he treats and how to take the next step, whether they arrive on a desktop or a phone.
Structured service content
I built a small custom plugin that adds a custom post type for services. Each service is stored once in a consistent structure and displayed wherever it’s needed across the site. Adding a new service or updating an existing one is a simple form in the dashboard, not a page redesign.
A matching podcast website
Alongside the main site, I built coffeewithdrstewart.com, a dedicated website for the Coffee With Dr. Stewart podcast. It shares the same design language as the main site, so listeners and patients get one consistent brand experience, while the podcast has its own space to showcase episodes and grow its audience.
A website the client controls
Because both sites are built with Elementor on a clean structure, Dr. Stewart’s team can update text, images and services themselves, without needing a developer for everyday changes.
The launch
The new site replaced the old one in a planned cutover, with existing content carried over and reworked into the new structure. Both sites were tested across devices before going live.
The results
A modern, mobile-friendly site that reflects Dr. Stewart’s expertise and professional standing
Services presented in a clear, consistent format that’s easy for visitors to browse
A matching podcast website that extends the brand and gives the show its own home
The client manages services and content themselves, which reduces ongoing development costs
